I think I'm going to bite the bullet and go full frame when the new DSLRs are released.

I do have a habit of buying a lesser equipment then buying the more expensive one later.

What's your opinion on the usable differences between the 1DS and 5D ranges?

AF is the one big thing that jumps out at me.

Thanks Eric, I'm led to believe the 5D3 will have the AF from the 7D.

One would hope that Canon sees fit to improve the AF in the 5D3 based on the volume and degree of gripes that 5D2 users have produced.
